Welcome to My world of “Unemployment” and “let’s see” if we can make it on only one income!
Welcome ! My Name is Katy and I am unemployed after working all but 14 years of my life. Yes I am old, 48 and on May the 13th to be exact, I will be 49. I have 3 children at home and one married daughter. Hard times hit us last year. January 15th my kids Pawpaw died. February came and we lost a cousin. March came and I lost a brother. April 1st! My baby, my son, 13 years old was diagnosed with Hodgkins III B (cancer). I prayed this was only a joke, no! After chemo and radiation we are in remission. Our second checkup to be next month.
January I lost my job after almost 18 years of service. Now, can we survive this. We shall see! I hope to post on this subject in the near future. So far, so good…Tune in later to find out if we can survive the cost of Prom 2009, with the attendance by both my girls. We’ll talk about the prom on a shoe string or not…… Until then take care and blog me back! This is Katydid, or will she!
